 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System.  The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO) on Saturday 5th July, 2025, sealed-off Global International College, Salem, Street, Ikate-Elegushi, Lekki, Eti-Osa, for deliberately discharging untreated feacal sludge and wastewater into the public drains via a pumping machine thereby causing public nuisance, pollution and endangering human life.


The school had failed to desist from this act even after being cautioned by the agency. 


Lagosians are enjoined to embrace proper wastewater management and hygiene practices to enhance public health and environmental sustainability.


All environmental nuisance and pollution portends grave dangers to public health and will be met with appropriate sanctions and or prosecution.
