 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence. MARION COUNTY, ILLINOIS- A FORMER ELECTED OFFICIAL HAS BEEN DENIED PRETRIAL RELEASE FOLLOWING SEVEN FELONY COUNTS OF CHILD ABUSE. (PHOTO).

 Marion county, Illinois- a former elected official has been denied pretrial release following seven felony counts of child abuse. 


Troy Cannon, the recent former coroner of Marion County, just appeared in court at the Marion County Courthouse. Cannon asked for a medical release and was denied. His attorney argued that the children in question were in a different county and asked for his client to be released, however this was denied due to the earlier finding of the court that Cannon should remain in jail due to all available monitoring not  being enough to protect minor females in the community. 


Canon has pleaded not guilty to the seven felony counts of child a****. He is demanding a jury trial. 


 Troy Cannon will remain in the Marion County Jail until his trial, and most likely during his trial. 


His first pretrial  hearing will be July 30th at 10 A.M.

The second hearing will be August 28th at 1 P.M.

Jury Trial- September 8th at 8:30 P.M.
