Blaming opposition for hunger is ‘delusion’, Atiku tells Tinubu Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of blaming the opposition for the country’s economic hardship. He said the President was trying to evade responsibility for his administration’s policies. Tinubu had earlier on Saturday blamed his political opponents for hunger and poverty in the country while speaking at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. “I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said.   Michael Madsen, Hollywood Icon, Dies at 67


Michael Madsen passed away early Thursday at his Malibu home due to cardiac arrest, bringing an end to a storied career defined by his powerful performances as tough guys and anti‑heroes. Deputies who responded to a 911 call pronounced him dead on the scene.


These past two years saw Madsen passionately working on independent films like Resurrection Road, Concessions, and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, and preparing to release his first poetry collection, Tears for My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems.


A trusted Quentin Tarantino collaborator, Madsen delivered unforgettable roles in Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill: Vol. 2, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He is survived by five children his eldest son, Hudson, tragically passed away in 2022.
