 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence.  Nollywood Veteran Tom Njemanze Appeals for Financial Aid in Prostate Cancer Battle


Veteran Nollywood actor Tom Njemanze has made a heartfelt plea for financial support to fund urgent surgery as he battles prostate cancer. The actor, currently hospitalized, shared his appeal in a viral video circulating online on Tuesday.


Filmmaker Stanley Ontop posted the video on Instagram, urging the public to assist Njemanze, a beloved figure in Nigeria’s film industry. “One of our Nollywood legends is sick and needs urgent surgery,” Ontop said. “Sir Tom Njemanze has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and he needs your support to undergo surgery. Nothing is too small, fams. Help our legend live again.”


Njemanze is renowned for his roles in popular films such as Issakaba, Tokunboh, Atosa, Pounds and Dollars, Osuofia in London, Igbotic Love, and Brain Box. Fans and colleagues have begun rallying support for the actor, with calls for donations to help cover his medical expenses.
