 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare .  Ogun, Rivers Top Death Row Inmate List — NCoS


The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has identified Ogun and Rivers States as having the highest number of death row inmates, with 568 and 504 respectively out of 3,833 nationwide.


Spokesman Abubakar Umar clarified that contrary to earlier reports, Kano, Kaduna, and Lagos are not the highest. He noted disparities stem from crime rates and judicial processes. Osun has no death row inmates, while Ebonyi and Oyo have two each.
