 VANDAL CRUSHED TO DEATH UNDER COLLAPSED TRANSMISSION TOWER IN DELTA STATE A suspected vandal has been crushed to death under a collapsed vandalised  transmission tower along the 330kV Ughelli-Benin transmission line in Delta State. The incident was discovered during a line patrol carried out by the Delta Sub-Region, Lines Maintenance Department of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), following the tripping of the line on earth fault on the Ughelli - Benin 330kV Transmission line. A statement by the TCN indicates that the patrol team traced the fault to Tower 101, which had collapsed. The body of the suspected vandal was found crushed between the tower members. Tower 101 on the adjacent Ughelli - Sapele 330kV  transmission line had also been vandalized.

 Paul Pogba gives honest verdict on Rashford's Barcelona move


Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has given his thoughts on Marcus Rashford's impending loan move to Barcelona.


There is an agreement in principle for Rashford to join the Catalan outfit on a season-long loan from Old Trafford.


The deal will include an option for Barcelona to sign the England international permanently next summer.


Rashford was exiled shortly after Ruben Amorim took charge last season and it has become clear that he has no future at Old Trafford under the Portuguese manager.


Pogba left United in 2022 and there are similarities between their two United careers.


Speaking to YouTube star IShowSpeed on a boat for beIN Sports, the new AS Monaco star reacted to the news.


'That's crazy, but I'm happy for him because they [United] took his number. Manchester United are losing a great player. Unlucky for them.


'It's great for Barcelona to be honest. I'm not even talking about United, because they've bought a few new players and the new manager wants to do his thing I guess.


'It's not really his [Amorim's] fault. If he doesn't believe in someone. He needs to win. If he doesn't win they're going to sack him.'


Rashford began to fall out of favour under Erik ten Hag before things got worse under new manager Ruben Amorim.


The Englishman was exiled by the Portuguese before joining Aston Villa on loan for the second half of the season.


During his time at Villa, Rashford made 17 appearances and scored four goals, while he provided six assists.


His current contract at United runs until the summer of 2028.


Barcelona are set to pay all of Rashford's £315,000-a-week wages during his loan move.


The 27-year-old has been training away from the United squad at Carrington in pre-season so far and has been joined by Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.


Another sign of Rashford's imminent departure from United came when his No10 shirt was given to new signing Matheus Cunha earlier this month.


Rashford has played 426 games for United and has scored 138 goals and he has also provided 77 assists.


He has won the FA Cup and the EFL Cup twice each and the Europa League once.
