 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. The ADC has revealed that Peter Obi does not have to formally resign from Labour Party yet to become a member of the new coalition party - unlike Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi that resigned from their former parties to align with the coalition.


ADC's interim National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said Obi enjoys a special privilege to retain his LP membership for now on account of his Obidients that are contesting for positions on the LP platform. 


The same goes for Mallam Nasir El-Rufai (SDP). 


"The understanding is that since their followers secured tickets in LP and SDP, they stay back until the processes are completed," Abdullahi said. "They will join fully after the elections."
