 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. The ADC has revealed that Peter Obi does not have to formally resign from Labour Party yet to become a member of the new coalition party - unlike Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi that resigned from their former parties to align with the coalition.


ADC's interim National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said Obi enjoys a special privilege to retain his LP membership for now on account of his Obidients that are contesting for positions on the LP platform. 


The same goes for Mallam Nasir El-Rufai (SDP). 


"The understanding is that since their followers secured tickets in LP and SDP, they stay back until the processes are completed," Abdullahi said. "They will join fully after the elections."
