 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment.  PETER OBI HAS SPECIAL PRIVILEGES IN ADC & LP - ADC


The ADC has revealed that Peter Obi does not have to formally resign from Labour Party yet to become a member of the new coalition party - unlike Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi that resigned from their former parties to align with the coalition.


ADC's interim National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said Obi enjoys a special privilege to retain his LP membership for now on account of his Obidients that are contesting for positions on the LP platform. 


The same goes for Mallam Nasir El-Rufai (SDP). 


"The understanding is that since their followers secured tickets in LP and SDP, they stay back until the processes are completed," Abdullahi said. "They will join fully after the elections."
