GloRilla arrested in Georgia on felony drug charge

Rapper GloRilla was arrested in Georgia on Tuesday for two felony drug charges, according to authorities in Forsyth County. She was taken into custody on counts of possessing a controlled substance and possessing more than an ounce of marijuana, both classified as felonies under state law.

While officials have not released further details about the circumstances leading to her arrest, GloRilla was reportedly released later that same day after posting a $22,000 bond. This is her second arrest in Georgia within just over a year. In April 2024, she was arrested in Gwinnett County on suspicion of driving under the influence after officers pulled over a vehicle that allegedly made an illegal U-turn. Police at the time reported smelling marijuana and alcohol in the vehicle, and GloRilla allegedly admitted to drinking. Bodycam footage showed her appearing unsteady during a field sobriety test.
