 South Korean police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-Hyuk over alleged $100 million investor fraud scheme    South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for Bang Si-Hyuk, the billionaire music executive behind K-pop powerhouse Hybe and BTS, as part of an expanding investigation into allegations that he improperly benefited from an investor scheme involving more than $100 million. Authorities said they have asked prosecutors to pursue a court warrant for Bang’s arrest as they continue probing claims that he misled investors in 2019. Investigators allege he told investors that Hybe had no plans for an initial public offering, leading them to sell shares to a private equity fund. The company later went public, and police suspect a separate arrangement may have resulted in Bang receiving a substantial payout tied to post-IPO stock profits.  Remo Stars to Kick Off NPFL Title Defense Against Rivers United


Reigning Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, will face former champions Rivers United in a thrilling opening match of the 2025/26 season, as revealed during the fixture draw held on a rainy Monday afternoon in Abuja, according to BSNSports.com.ng.


The upcoming NPFL season will feature 20 clubs, each competing in 38 matches—19 at home and 19 away—over 38 match weeks, with ten games scheduled per round. To ensure smooth crowd management and enhanced security, the NPFL has arranged the fixture list to prevent clubs from the same state, such as Abia Warriors and Enyimba FC, or Kano Pillars and Barau FC, from hosting home matches on the same weekend, alternating their home fixtures throughout the season.
