 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare .  Pakistani allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl and disappeared into thin air


The Burgesfort Police Detectives from the Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) are urgently seeking community assistance to locate a Pakistani foreign national known only as Adino, whose presence is deemed critical in solving a rape case involving a 12-year-old girl at a spaza shop in Ga-Mampa Village, Mecklenburg on Thursday, 15 May 2025. 


The victim, who approached the suspect for plastics to make a ball, was raped after other customers left the shop, managed to escape, and reported the incident to her mother, who confronted the suspect before he fled the village, prompting police to open a rape case and launch an unsuccessful manhunt. 


Authorities urge the man pictured to report to the nearest police station and request anyone with information to contact Constable Mildred Manamela Mabotja at 071 355 0571.
