Blaming opposition for hunger is ‘delusion’, Atiku tells Tinubu Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of blaming the opposition for the country’s economic hardship. He said the President was trying to evade responsibility for his administration’s policies. Tinubu had earlier on Saturday blamed his political opponents for hunger and poverty in the country while speaking at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. “I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said.  SEMA BOSS, SIR JAMES AONDOAKAA REFURBISHES SECURITY VEHICLE TO BOOST IDP CAMP PROTECTION IN BENUE STATE

In a significant step toward enhancing the security of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Benue State, the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Sir James Aondoakaa Iorpuu, PhD, has refurbished a critical security vehicle to support surveillance and emergency response operations.


The refurbished vehicle is expected to improve mobility and response time for security personnel tasked with patrolling and safeguarding SEMA facilities and IDP camps across the state. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the agency to reinforce safety measures and provide a more secure environment for displaced families.


According to SEMA, the move aligns with its commitment to ensuring the welfare and protection of vulnerable citizens amid rising security concerns in various parts of the state.


Sir James Aondoakaa Iorpuu, known for his hands-on leadership, has continued to implement practical steps not only to provide humanitarian support but also to foster a stable and protected atmosphere in and around displacement camps.


The refurbished security vehicle is seen as a symbol of proactive governance and a renewed focus on the safety of those affected by conflict and crisis in the region.
