 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results.  SENATE SAYS AKPOTI-UDUAGHAN IS MAKING SKITS 


Following the attempt of suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to force her way into the National Assembly on Tuesday, the Senate mocked her for content creation.


This fact was voiced by the chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Yemi Adaramodu, who said the suspended senator is creating season films.


“We are legislators and lawmakers, not spectators to be watching skit making and content creation.


“Initially I said all these episodes and saga is all about content creation, now that the content has been created, it’s now degenerating into a season film.


“I know that Nigerians know that this is another skit making and a continuation of the content making episode by our own colleague," Adaramodu stated.
