 DELTA STATE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE ARREST OF SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS, GUN RUNNERS AND; RECOVERY OF TWO (2) AK-47 RIFLES, AND THIRTY-SIX (36) ROUNDS OF LIVE AMMUNITION The Delta State Police Command has recorded another major breakthrough in an intelligence-led operations targeting suspected kidnappers and illegal arms trafficking syndicate within and beyond the State. 1. ARREST OF FIVE SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS/ RECOVERY OF ONE AK-47 RIFLE AND THIRTY-SIX (36) ROUNDS OF 7.62MM LIVE AMMUNITION: On 24 April 2026 at about 1830hrs, operatives of the command's tactical team based in Ughelli, acting on credible intelligence arrested one Ahmadu Usman (m), 22, a native of Lafiya, Nasarawa State, at Ekuigbo area of Ughelli in connection with a kidnapping syndicate terrorising commuters along Ughelli–Warri Road. Shatta Wale Falls on Stage During Kumasi Performance, Blasts Fan for Causing It


Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, widely known as Shatta Wale, is trending on social media after falling on stage while performing at an event in Kumasi, Ashanti Region. 


He was singing his hit song, ‘Taking Over’, at the grand opening show of the Golden Dew Hotel on Saturday, July 19, 2025. 


In a video on X sighted by Ghbase News, the musician was performing when a fan climbed onto the stage and attempted to get close to Shatta Wale. 


The overly excited fan bumped into Shatta Wale while he was performing on stage. Meanwhile, the security guards chased after the fan, caught him on the floor, and dragged him offstage. 


As Shatta Wale quickly got back up after falling, paused, and addressed the fan’s action. 


He expressed his dissatisfaction, as he was unhappy with the stage invasion and wondered what would have happened if he had gotten injured.
