First introduced as a pilot scheme in 2025, the policy targets applicants seeking B1 and B2 visas, which are designated for business and tourism.  Supreme Court to Rule July 10 on Edo Guber Dispute Between Okpebholo, Ighodalo


The Supreme Court will deliver judgment on Thursday, July 10, in the legal battle between Governor Monday Okpebholo of the APC and his PDP challenger, Asue Ighodalo, over the 2024 Edo governorship election.


INEC had declared Okpebholo winner, but Ighodalo challenged the result, citing irregularities and over-voting. Both the tribunal and Court of Appeal upheld Okpebholo’s victory, prompting a final appeal to the Supreme Court. The ruling will end all legal disputes over the election.
