 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  This is an attack on Igbos, Edo state Governor wouldn’t try this with a leader from Hausa land or a leader from Yoruba land and I mean it- Kenneth Okonkwo tackles Gov Okpebholo over his warning to Peter Obi


Speaking in an interview with ARISE TV this morning, Kenneth Okonkwo was asked to react to the recent comments by Edo state governor, Monday Okpebholo on the person of Peter Obi. 


Recall that the governor had said that Obi should never come to the state without getting security clerance from him. According to him, the last time Obi was in the state three persons d!ed. 


Responding to the warning given to Obi by the Edo state governor , Kenneth Okonkwo stated that l he sees the governor’s comment as an attack on Igbos. According to him, the governor would not make such a remark to any leader from Hausa or Yoruba ethnic divide.


He also stated that he will not respond to the comments of the APC chairman in Edo state in which the chairman claimed that the governor was right in asking Obi not to visit the state without his permission. According to the Edo state APC chairman, the people of Edo state hate Obi and so he should not come to their state.


When asked to react to this comment by the Edo APC chairman, Okonkwo said;


‘’Sorry I don’t give credence to people like that because they are just seeking relevance. He is as inconsequential as his face looks’’
