 LASCOPA INTRODUCES TOLL-FREE LINE FOR CONSUMERS, URGES RESIDENTS TO REPORT FAKE, EXPIRED PRODUCTS, POOR SERVICES  The Lagos State Government has urged residents to "tell it to LASCOPA" by promptly reporting fake, expired, adulterated and counterfeit products, misleading advertisements, poor services and other consumer-related violations through the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency's toll-free consumer helpline, 080 0005 2726, or by email at lasgcopa@gmail.com or the Agency's Social media handles - Facebook: lascopa, Instagram: lasgcopa, X (Twitter): lasgcopa  The General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of LASCOPA, Afolabi Solebo, Esq., stated that the toll-free line provides consumers with a direct, accessible channel to report violations, seek guidance and get timely action.  TikTok Deletes 3.6 Million Nigerian Videos Over Policy Violations


TikTok removed over 3.6 million videos in Nigeria between January and March 2025 for violating its Community Guidelines, a 50% rise from the previous quarter, according to its Q1 2025 Enforcement Report.


The platform said 98.4% of the videos were proactively detected, with 92.1% removed within 24 hours. It also banned over 42,000 LIVE rooms and disrupted 48,000 streams for similar violations.


TikTok stressed that most content remained positive, while announcing a new in-app helpline in Nigeria and appointing Dr. Olawale Ogunlana as its Digital Well-being Ambassador.
