 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces.  TINUBU APPOINTS AL-MAKURA AS NEW UBEC BOARD CHAIRMAN

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, as the new Chairman of the Governing Board for the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).


The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, made the announcement at the launch of the AFD-supported ICT Development Project in 10 selected Nigerian universities.


A businessman and politician, the new UBEC Board Chairman also represented Nasarawa South District in the 9th Nigerian Senate from 2019 to 2023.


UBEC is under the Federal Ministry of Education.


The former Governor has recently been endorsed by some stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the North Central geopolitical zone for the vacant party’s National Chairmanship seat, following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje on health grounds.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
