 Germany and Austria to tap oil reserves after 400 million barrels requested  Germany and Austria announced they are releasing portions of their oil reserves in response to an International Energy Agency request for member nations to collectively release 400 million barrels to help ease rising energy prices linked to the Iran conflict. Japan also said it will begin releasing part of its reserves starting Monday. The move marks one of the largest coordinated releases of emergency oil stocks in history. The previous record came in 2022, when IEA members released 182.7 million barrels following the energy disruptions caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Member countries currently hold over 1.2 billion barrels of public emergency oil stocks, along with an additional 600 million barrels of industry stocks maintained under government requirements.  TIV STUDENTS OF ADAMAWA STATE UNIVERSITY, MUBI CELEBRATES TIV-DAY IN A GRAND STYLE

Earlier yesterday, the Community of Tiv Students (CTS), Adamawa State University, Mubi, held its much-anticipated 2025 Tiv Day Celebration. The event was a colourful and memorable display of Tiv culture, heritage, music, and unity. It brought together students, staff, and well-wishers from within and outside the university community. The occasion was graced by notable personalities including the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Augustine Clement, ably represented by the Dean of Student Affairs; the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Marcel P. Agah; Prof. Joyce D., HOD of Agricultural Economics and Extension; Prof. Mrs. Asabe Ibrahim; Prof. S. T. Umar; Prof. Abigail Edward; Dr. Wahidi Ijasini; and Dr. Minnessi Glenn Kibikiwa, among others. Their presence added great honour and prestige to the celebration.


"In the course of the event, I was deeply humbled and honoured to receive a Leadership Award from the Community of Tiv Students as the Most Serving CTS President. This recognition not only celebrates my dedication and commitment to the growth and development of the association but also serves as a motivation to continue striving for excellence in leadership and service. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
