🇳🇴 Daniel Daga Sentenced by Norwegian Court, Appeals Verdict Molde FK midfielder Daniel Daga has been sentenced to six months in prison by a Norwegian court after being found guilty of committing a sexual act without consent. The Nigerian midfielder joined Molde FK from Enyimba just a year ago as one of the promising young talents to move from the NPFL to Europe. However, Daga has appealed the ruling through his lawyer, meaning the decision is not yet legally final and the case will continue through the Norwegian judicial system. Molde FK have also confirmed that the midfielder will not be included in the club’s matchday squad until further notice while the legal process continues.

Tragedy in Lokoja: Photographer Butchered by Colleague in Office Incident

A tragic incident has rocked Lokoja as Mr. Ayo Aiyepeku, a creative photographer, was gruesomely killed and dismembered by his colleague, Adebayo, near the Kogi Chieftaincy Lodge, close to the Government House.

The attack reportedly occurred in their office while both were working on editing tasks late at night. Adebayo allegedly lured Ayo outside, struck him fatally, and hid his dismembered body parts in a fridge behind his Hilux vehicle.

A witness quietly alerted the police, prompting a chase. Adebayo escaped, abandoning his damaged vehicle. He is said to be a staff member of the Nigerian Correctional Service and had previously assaulted his wife, who recently fled to Abuja.

Police are now on a manhunt for the suspect.
