 PRESS RELEASE NAF SUSTAINS HIGH-TEMPO AIR OPERATIONS, DESTROYS TERRORIST HIDEOUTS IN SOUTHERN TUMBUNS The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI, sustained operational pressure on terrorist elements with a precision air interdiction mission conducted on 24 April 2026 at about 1850 hours over Ali Sheriffti, a known terrorist enclave in the Southern Tumbuns. Acting on credible intelligence of terrorist activity, NAF air assets conducted a focused surveillance sweep, during which several insurgents were sighted moving along concealed tracks. The targets were trailed to structures hidden under dense foliage, confirming deliberate attempts at concealment. Following positive identification, the NAF executed a precise strike, engaging the structures with onboard munitions.  TRUMP DIAGNOSED WITH CHRONIC VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY 


President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency. This condition made his ankles to swell and large veins to show up on his hands.


According to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, White House doctors arrived at the diagnosis after the 79-year-old president underwent echocardiogram and ultrasounds among other examinations.


"Importantly, there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease,” Leavitt said. “The president remains in excellent health.”


The spokeswoman said Trump is not having any discomfort from his condition and remains strong to keep working. She said Trump takes aspirin therapy as part of a “standard cardiovascular prevention regimen."
