 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  TRUMP WANTS OBAMA ARRESTED OVER COUP ALLEGATIONS 

President Donald Trump suggested on Truth Social that former President Barack Obama should be arrested over intelligence that he may have worked for Trump's loss in the 2016 general elections. 


Following the release of 114 documents declassified by the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, Trump posted an AI-generated video in which the FBI handcuffs and leads Obama away from the White House.


Gabbard alleged that Obama and top administrators in his government tried to make Trump lose out in a way that shifted the responsibility on Russia. 


"Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people," Gabbard alleged.


Trump's reaction seems to want Obama, former president Joe Biden, former FBI director James Comey, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi investigated and arrested.
