 LSPHCB, SCI COLLABORATE TO STRENGTHEN CHILD IMMUNISATION The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (LSPHCB) hosted a high-level delegation from Save the Children International (SCI), led by Country Director, Mr. Duncan Harvey, during an official courtesy visit to the board on Thursday, 17th September 2026. The visit comes as part of Save the Children’s global leadership tour in Nigeria to evaluate the impact of the BOOST Project (Better Opportunities for Optimal Services and Targeted Immunisation for Zero-Dose and Under-Immunised Children) and to align on strategic priorities for child health across the state. TWO MEN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGED KNIFE ATTACK ON JUVENILES AT TROY FAIR IN PENNSYLVANIA. (PHOTO).

 Two men charged after alleged knife attack on juveniles at Troy Fair in Pennsylvania 

Two men have been charged with felonies after allegedly attacking three juveniles with knives at the Troy Fair on Friday. David Albarran, 34, from Elmira, and Elijah Putnam, 18, from Athens, face first-degree felony charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, along with misdemeanor simple assault charges.

One of the victims sustained a serious facial laceration, while the other two did not suffer significant injuries. According to police reports, the two uninjured victims said Albarran threatened them with a red curved knife, while Putnam allegedly attacked the injured victim, causing the facial wound. The victim was taken to Troy Hospital for medical treatment. Both suspects denied possessing knives, and police did not find any weapons at the scene. Albarran and Putnam were held at Bradford County Jail on $150,000 bail.
