South Korean police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-Hyuk over alleged $100 million investor fraud scheme    South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for Bang Si-Hyuk, the billionaire music executive behind K-pop powerhouse Hybe and BTS, as part of an expanding investigation into allegations that he improperly benefited from an investor scheme involving more than $100 million. Authorities said they have asked prosecutors to pursue a court warrant for Bang’s arrest as they continue probing claims that he misled investors in 2019. Investigators allege he told investors that Hybe had no plans for an initial public offering, leading them to sell shares to a private equity fund. The company later went public, and police suspect a separate arrangement may have resulted in Bang receiving a substantial payout tied to post-IPO stock profits.  "We Took The Political Bullets While They Looted The Resources" — Former El-Rufai Social Media Influencers Cry Out

In a revealing and emotional outcry, former social media influencers and loyal supporters of the Nasir El-Rufai administration have expressed deep frustration over what they describe as betrayal and neglect during and after the former governor’s tenure.

The ex-influencers, who were instrumental in defending and promoting the El-Rufai administration both online and offline, now say they were sidelined while some political appointees allegedly enriched themselves with public resources.

"While we were busy defending the administration on all fronts, online and offline, some of El-Rufai’s political appointees were enriching themselves with public funds," they said.

Throughout the administration’s lifespan, these digital foot soldiers said they endured personal and professional risks, including severe criticism and political attacks. However, they claim that while they took the political bullets, certain high-ranking officials were amassing wealth—acquiring luxury properties, vehicles, and assets both within and outside Nigeria.

"They kept telling us to be patient, that our time to be blessed would come. But that promise was never fulfilled."

The conclusion of the El-Rufai regime has been shadowed by allegations of mismanagement and corruption, implicating individuals who were once seen as upstanding figures in the government.

While some of these loyalists were eventually recognized and rewarded politically following the emergence of Senator Uba Sani as the new governor, many others remain overlooked.

Politically Rewarded Influencers:

Bege Joseph Gaiya, Malam Mustapha Yamusa Rigasa, Manasseh Joseph, Mabushi Dunio, Jesse David, Alheri Ishaya Shemang, Gideon Daniel Kurah (GDK), and Saifu Adam Bawa Kajuru.

Still Awaiting Government Recognition:

Dauda Aku, Engr. FuNom Kato, Kea Adams, Lucky Biliyock, Mainasara N'chok Zamani, Alex Tagwai (now decamped to the PDP), Bala Wojeh, Ezekiel Chibok Shehu, Doctorscience Sweetyfatima, Paul Ali, and many others.

As Kaduna adjusts to a new political era under Governor Uba Sani, these once-vocal defenders of the past administration hope their sacrifices will finally be recognized—not just with words, but with meaningful inclusion and opportunities.

"We don't want handouts; we want to be part of the process we fought to protect. We believe we have earned that right," they said.
