 Popular Awka MC And Comedian Aiza Nwosu Shot Dead Popular Awka-born master of ceremonies, comedian and griot, Aiza Nwosu, was reportedly shot dead today, Sunday, 30th August 2026, in Awka, Anambra State. Unconfirmed reports circulating online allege that his killing may be connected to a lingering land-related dispute. This remains unverified, however, and it is now left for the relevant security agencies to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. The tragic news has shocked many, particularly within Awka and the entertainment community. It also raises renewed concerns about violent killings in Awka and the urgent need to address insecurity in the area. Aiza had been active in the entertainment industry for many years and was a friend and colleague to many.  Yoruba Muslim Scholars Association Launched in Ibadan


The Yoruba Muslim Scholars Association was officially unveiled in Ibadan to promote unity, Islamic scholarship, and community service across Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta states.


President Sheikh Khidr Mustapha said the CAC-registered body will issue fatwas, conduct research, and uphold moderate Islamic teachings. He called for support from Muslim leaders and philanthropists.


Key figures at the event included the Oluwo of Iwoland and top Islamic clerics.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
