 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. A BABY HAS BEEN BORN FROM AN EMBRYO FROZEN IN 1994 MAKING HIM THE OLDEST-KNOWN FROZEN EMBRYO EVER BROUGHT TO LIFE.(PHOTO).

 A baby has been born from an embryo frozen in 1994 making him the oldest-known frozen embryo ever brought to life.


Lindsey and Tim Pierce, an Ohio couple, struggled with infertility for years before adopting the decades-old embryo through an agency.


Their healthy son, Thaddeus, was born July 26, proving that even a 30-year-old embryo can still bring new life into the world.
