 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

 ANAMBRA POLICE RECEIVE SUSPECTED ILLEGAL CHINESE MINER FROM LOCAL SECURITY OPERATIVES


The Anambra State Police Command, through its operatives attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka, on the evening of 22nd August 2025, received a suspected illegal Chinese miner from operatives of the Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA Brigade).


The suspect, identified as Mu Hua Qiang, 45 years old, a resident of Aguleri, was arrested for his alleged involvement in illegal mining operations within the Aguleri axis. His statement has been voluntarily obtained, and he has been placed in lawful custody for further investigation.


Futher developments will be communicated in due course.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
