 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. ARMED AND DANGEROUS MAN ON THE LOOSE IN ILLINOIS AFTER SHOOTING TWO POLICE OFFICERS. HE ALSO MAY BE UNCLOTHED. (PHOTO).

 Armed and dangerous man on the loose in Illinois after shooting two police officers. He also may be unclothed. 


Illinois State Police are searching for a man they have publicly announced as being armed and dangerous. 


This odd story unfolded at 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning in Gibson City, Illinois. Gibson City PD was contacted in reference to a "man walking down Ash Street completely nude".


Officers were soon able to identify the man as David Jordan. After identifying the man, authorities went to his home to attempt to make contact with Jordan. While attempting to make contact, David Jordan fired on officers striking a Gibson PD officer and a Ford County Deputy. Both officers were taken to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries. 


A short time later, the home of David Jordan burst into flames, and during the ensuing chaos, Jordan was able to slip past authorities and make his escape. Jordan started the fire to help escape the authorities. 


David Jordan is now at large and considered armed and dangerous, and again, possibly unclothed or partially unclothed.  If you see David Jordan or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please call 911 immediately. Authorities are urging the public not to approach David whatsoever.
