 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  ARMY HAS NO RESOURCES TO PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION FOR 13,000 SOLDIERS


Chief of Army Staff (CoAS), Olufemi Oluyede, has disclosed that the Nigeria Army does not have the requisite resources to provide accommodation to 13,000 new recruits.


Oluyede revealed this during the visit of the Senate Committee on Army to Army Headquarters on Thursday. 


“As we speak, the army is still challenged in terms of operational efficiency," he said. "This year alone, we are expecting about 13,000 new personnel, but there are no corresponding resources to provide accommodation for them."
