 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence.  EFCC Arrests 37 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Port Harcourt


Operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  have arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State


They were arrested on Friday,  August 1, 2025 at various locations in Port Harcourt following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.


 Items recovered from them include different brands and models of vehicles, phones and laptops containing incriminating items. 


The suspects will  be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.
