 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Fenerbahce Sack Jose Mourinho After Champions League Failure


Fenerbahce have announced the dismissal of manager Jose Mourinho, just one day after the Turkish club failed to qualify for the Champions League league phase, suffering a defeat to Benfica. The decision marks the end of Mourinho’s brief eight-month tenure with the club, during which he managed only two matches in the current season.


The 62-year-old Portuguese manager, known for his illustrious career, led Fenerbahce to a second-place finish in the Turkish Super Lig last season. However, his time in Istanbul was marked by disappointment, with no silverware to show for his efforts. The club was eliminated in the Turkish Cup quarter-finals and suffered a defeat to Rangers in the Europa League round of 16.


Fenerbahce’s management has not yet named a successor, leaving fans and analysts speculating about the club’s next steps as they aim to rebound from this setback.
