 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Fenerbahce Sack Jose Mourinho After Champions League Failure


Fenerbahce have announced the dismissal of manager Jose Mourinho, just one day after the Turkish club failed to qualify for the Champions League league phase, suffering a defeat to Benfica. The decision marks the end of Mourinho’s brief eight-month tenure with the club, during which he managed only two matches in the current season.


The 62-year-old Portuguese manager, known for his illustrious career, led Fenerbahce to a second-place finish in the Turkish Super Lig last season. However, his time in Istanbul was marked by disappointment, with no silverware to show for his efforts. The club was eliminated in the Turkish Cup quarter-finals and suffered a defeat to Rangers in the Europa League round of 16.


Fenerbahce’s management has not yet named a successor, leaving fans and analysts speculating about the club’s next steps as they aim to rebound from this setback.
