  NINE PEOPLE ARRESTED AS CULT CLASH ROCKS BENUE BURIAL CEREMONY  PAt least nine suspected cult members have been arrested after a violent clash disrupted a burial ceremony in Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State. The incident reportedly led to the destruction of homes and valuables, with several individuals still unaccounted for. Tension gripped parts of Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State after a violent clash involving suspected cult groups left properties destroyed and several persons missing. The incident occurred in Abenga, Mbakya, and Mbabur communities during the burial of one Dugeri Terhemen, popularly known as “Black Deal.” According to local sources, the burial ceremony was disrupted by clashes between rival groups, leading to chaos in the affected areas. Oscar-nominated actor Gary Busey has pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree criminal sexual contact charge after admitting in court that he inappropriately touched a woman during a 2022 fan convention in New Jersey.


The actor, once known for his role in The Buddy Holly Story, initially denied wrongdoing but told a judge last week, “It was not an accidental touching.” He now faces potential fines and up to five years of probation.
