 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  GEJ CELEBRATES BABANGIDA'S HISTORICAL MARKS ON HIS 84TH BIRTHDAY


Former military President, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd), celebrated his 84th birthday on Saturday. 


Former President Goodluck Jonathan used the opportunity to celebrate Babangida's historical achievements.


In a message issued through his spokesperson, Ikechukwu Eze, Jonathan said

Babangida's 1985-1993 presidency was marked by economic and political development that shaped Nigeria's current trajectory.


“On this special occasion of your 84th birthday, I celebrate your remarkable life, leadership, and dedication to our nation’s growth and progress,” Jonathan said.


“Through your efforts in stabilising the nation during challenging times and guiding Nigeria through critical periods, you have left an indelible mark in our history."
