A Tennessee woman had to have her leg amputated after being attacked by her own dog. This terrifying incident occurred in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee home of 42-year-old Amanda Mears.  On the evening of December 10th, Amanda was preparing to take her dog, a Pit Bull/ American Staffordshire mix, named "Dennis" out for a walk.  As the two were making their way to the door, Amanda's other dog Ralphie, an American Bully, escaped from the room she was keeping him in.  In the blink of an eye, a vicious dog fight erupted. Amanda, who fosters dogs that have been abandoned, is no stranger to dog fights and jumped between the battling dogs in an attempt to stop the fight.  However, this turned out to not be your typical situation. GEORGE CLOONEY SIDELINED FROM TELLURIDE PREMIERE OF JAY KELLY DUE TO SINUS INFECTION. (PHOTO).

George Clooney sidelined from Telluride premiere of Jay Kelly due to sinus infection

Despite battling a stubborn sinus infection, George Clooney managed to appear on the red carpet for the world premiere of his new film, Jay Kelly, in Venice on Thursday night.

The illness, however, forced him to skip the festival’s press conference and other media obligations. Sources confirm that Clooney will also miss the North American premiere in Telluride this weekend, as his doctors have advised against flying while dealing with sinus and ear infections. A spokesperson for Clooney said, “Unfortunately, because of the sinus and ear infections that George is currently suffering from, his doctors have told him that it would be impossible for him to fly to Telluride to support his new film, Jay Kelly. This is, of course, extremely disappointing for him because he was looking forward to celebrating the U.S. premiere in Telluride with his fellow cast members and Noah.”

At the Venice premiere, co-star Adam Sandler lightened the mood, joking, “Even movie stars get sick.” Jay Kelly, directed by Noah Baumbach, follows a famous actor named Jay Kelly (Clooney) and his devoted manager Ron (Sandler) on a whirlwind European journey that forces them to confront their choices, relationships, and legacies. The film, co-written by Baumbach and Emily Mortimer, also stars Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, and Riley Keough.

Early reviews have leaned positive, with critics praising the performances. Clooney has been singled out for delivering some of his finest screen work, while Sandler’s portrayal of the devoted yet conflicted Ron has been described as nuanced and compelling. Dern’s turn as a frazzled personal publicist has also earned accolades for its authenticity. Overall, the film has been noted for bringing fresh insight to the “movies-about-movies” genre, balancing classic Hollywood references with a contemporary and thoughtful story.
