 Judy Greer was 'so broke' before filming "Wedding Planner" that Matthew McConaughey covered her $20 valet bill Judy Greer, now known as the quintessential rom-com best friend, was still early in her career when she landed her role in The Wedding Planner alongside Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey.  During a recent interview, she recalled a memorable moment from the film’s early days when McConaughey stepped in to help her out of an embarrassing situation.  At the time, Greer had parked at the Roosevelt Hotel for a table read but didn’t have enough money to pay the valet.  Mortified, she was on the pay phone trying to figure out a solution when McConaughey overheard and handed her $20, instantly becoming her hero.  Acting Chief Justice Baffoe-Bonnie swears in his wife as Notary Public


Acting Chief Justice, His Lordship Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, has administered the oath of office to his wife, Mrs Patience Baffoe-Bonnie, swearing her in as a Notary Public.


Mrs Baffoe-Bonnie, who was recently appointed Director General of the Ghana Prisons Service by President Mahama, was among 122 seasoned lawyers called to serve as notaries at a ceremony on Saturday, August 16, 2025.


Per the Notaries Public Act, 1960 (Act 26), only legal practitioners with over 10 years’ standing, integrity, and high moral character qualify for the role.
