 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. GHANA’S ANTI-GRAFT AGENCY, FBI SEIZE SHATTA WALE’S LAMBORGHINI.(PHOTO).

   Ghana’s anti-graft agency, FBI seize Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini. US authorities have linked the vehicle to criminal proceeds of one Nana Kwabena Amuah, currently serving an 86-month sentence for financial crimes in the United States over $4.7m US fraud.

EOCO says Shatta Wale tried to keep it quiet after they seized his Lamborghini Urus. 


In a press release dated August 5, the anti-graft agency confirmed it executed a search at Shatta’s Trassaco home with support from U.S. authorities.


The luxury car is believed to be linked to a convicted fraudster in the U.S., and the FBI wants it returned.


But EOCO says Shatta Wale pleaded with officers not to let the public know. 


“He stated that the vehicle was a big part of his brand and that if supporters saw EOCO driving it away, it would destroy his brand,” the statement revealed.


Despite the request, the car was confiscated and is now in EOCO’s possession.
