HILDA BACI GOES FOR GUINNESS WORLD RECORD WITH LARGEST JOLLOF RICE POT

Hilda Baci is attempting to win a Guinness World Record by cooking jollof rice in the biggest cooking pot in the world.

The Nigerian celebrity chef and restaurateur won a Guinness World Record in 2023 by the longest cooking marathon in the world - now it is cooking jollof rice in the world's biggest pot.

“Two years ago, I imagined the largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice the world has ever seen. Today, with Gino—a brand we all grew up with—my dream is becoming a reality.

"On 12th September 2025, I will be making the largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice with you, because what is my jollof rice without you to enjoy it? It’s more than cooking; it’s a celebration of our food, our culture, music, and us.”

Baci shared a photo of herself standing beside a 6 by 6-meter pot. Sponsored by Gino, she announced the event will hold on September 12, 2025, at Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos.
