 First Lady Flags Off National Community Food Bank Program In Borno  Nigeria has hit another milestone in its campaign to provide nutrition support to women and children with the launch of the National Community Food Bank program,  starting from the North East zone of the country. First Lady Oluremi Tinubu while inaugurating the very first of the food banks in Shuwari- II Primary Healthcare Centre,  Bolori in Borno State says the intervention represents a new line of protection for Nigerian children against child malnutrition  Designed to provide vulnerable children under the age of six and pregnant women with sustainable access to nutritious food, the intervention is a multi-sectoral platform that seeks to fight child malnutrition by establishing food banks around primary healthcare centres across the country and also encouraging bio-fortification of food from source.  Among many  projects undertaken by the Borno State Governor,  Prof Babagana Zu...

 IBOM AIR: COURY FREES COMFORT EMMANSON, AS POLICE WITHDRAW CHARGES

Comfort Emmason, the passenger accused of assaulting an Ibom Air staff on Sunday, has been released after a Lagos court struck out the five-count charge against her.


At a brief hearing on Wednesday, Magistrate Olanrewaju Salami of the Samuel Ilori Courthouse, Ogba, Lagos, dismissed the case following the decision of the Lagos Airport Police Command to withdraw the charges unconditionally.


Police prosecutor, Inspector Olubunmi Adeitan told the court the withdrawal was based on new facts presented to the command after Monday’s arraignment.


Lead defence counsel, Adams Otakpe confirmed he had no objection to the withdrawal.


In his ruling, Magistrate Salami accepted the position of both counsel and struck out the charges. He, however, advised the 26-year-old to always exercise wisdom in future, regardless of provocation, noting that she had played a role in the controversy.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
