Judge rejects Amy Winehouse's father’s lawsuit over sale of singer’s personal items  A London judge has ruled against Mitch Winehouse in a legal dispute over the sale of personal belongings once owned by his late daughter, singer Amy Winehouse. Mitch Winehouse, who serves as the administrator of the singer’s estate, brought the case against Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay, alleging they improperly profited from the sale of her memorabilia. He claimed the pair had no right to sell the items and did so without his knowledge, arguing they should not have benefited from the auctions. Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning at her home in London, bringing an end to a career that made her one of the most recognizable voices of her generation. The dispute centered on roughly 150 personal items, including clothing, accessories, and stage pieces such as dresses, shoes, scarves, earrings, and handbags. Parry, who worked as Winehouse’s stylist, and Gourlay sa...

Iyabo Ojo fires back at VeryDarkMan over Mohbad claims: "It’s a crime to post private chats"

The drama surrounding late singer Mohbad’s case took a fresh twist on Sunday as Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo finally broke her silence and responded to social media activist VeryDarkMan’s explosive allegations.

In a video posted on her official page, Iyabo Ojo dismissed claims that she led a secret WhatsApp group created to derail justice for Mohbad. She warned that leaking private chats without consent is a criminal offence, hinting that legal steps could follow if such material is made public.

“It’s a crime to post private chats, and I’m sure you know the law,” she said pointedly, addressing VeryDarkMan directly. “But if the right authorities request it, I have people who can provide it. I’ve already left the group.”

Her response comes a week after VeryDarkMan, accused Ojo of heading a covert WhatsApp group used to manipulate public opinion and orchestrate his arrest. He had named other alleged members, including music producer Samklef, Davido’s associate Dre, and actor Jigan Baba Oja.

According to him, the group was created to spread misinformation and silence him after he called for a thorough investigation into Mohbad’s death and demanded a DNA test for the singer’s son, Liam Light Aloba.

He also claimed that the leak of his nude video and his eventual arrest were part of a coordinated attack planned in the same group chat.

But Iyabo Ojo, in her video, refrained from addressing each allegation in detail. Instead, she stood her ground, stating she was ready to cooperate with the proper authorities if needed but warned that laws must be respected.

While some fans hailed her for finally speaking out, others questioned why the existence of the alleged WhatsApp group has not been formally denied or clarified by other parties involved.

As tensions rise, all eyes are now on whether VeryDarkMan will release the said group chat evidence or face legal consequences for doing so.
