 Iyienu College of Nursing Sciences Matriculates, Caps 183 Student Nurses ‎ ‎By Nneka Ejeckam ‎ ‎The College of Nursing Sciences, Iyienu, has matriculated and capped 183 student nurses of the 2025 set of National Diploma (ND) Nursing students. ‎The ceremony, held on October 2, marked an important milestone in the academic and professional journey of the student nurses.  ‎ ‎The Proprietor and Bishop on the Niger, His Lordship, the Rt. Rev. Owen Chiedozie Nwokolo, was represented at the event by Ven. Frank Obi. The occasion attracted dignitaries, government representatives, captains of industry, parents and other guests who gathered to celebrate the achievement of the student nurses. ‎ ‎Speaking on behalf of the Bishop, Ven. Jacklyn Bezos, mother of Jeff Bezos, dies at 78


Jeff Bezos mourns his mother, Jacklyn “Jackie” Bezos, who has died at 78.

The Bezos Family Foundation shared the news Thursday, posting a tribute and photo of Jackie, saying she passed away peacefully at her home in Miami. While the cause of death was not disclosed, the foundation noted she had been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2020. The tribute also recognized her healthcare team and praised her husband, Mike, for his unwavering support.

The statement highlighted her life and legacy, describing her as “the true meaning of grit and determination, kindness and service to others,” qualities she instilled in those around her. Jeff Bezos’ wife, Lauren Sánchez, shared the tribute on Instagram Stories, adding a broken heart emoji.

Jacklyn had Jeff at 17 with her first husband, Ted Jorgensen, but they separated when Jeff was a toddler. She later married Miguel “Mike” Bezos, and the couple famously invested nearly $250,000 in Jeff’s fledgling company, Amazon, in 1995. She was 78.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
