 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. The cause of Death of Jerry Adler,  The Sopranos Star


Jerry Adler, the veteran actor who famously starred in The Sopranos, died Saturday, his family announced he was 96.


Adler was born in Brooklyn and died surrounded by loved ones in New York City. His death announcement stated proudly, “Jerry was a resident of New York, New York.”


He famously played the Jewish consigliere “Herman ‘Hesh’ Rabkin” on The Sopranos, appearing in 28 episodes across all six seasons . He died a natural death .
