 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Kenya Defence Forces Aircraft C,rashes in Nairobi Residential Area, Casualties Feared 


A Cessna Citation 560, a light aircraft, crashed into a densely populated residential area in Githurai, Nairobi, on Thursday, according to Kenyan authorities. Several are feared dead in the accidentt.


According to reports, the aircraft involved in the c,rash is suspected to belong to the Kenya Defence Forces.


Authorities reported that the aircraft departed from Wilson Airport en route to Hargeisa but lost communication with air traffic controllers at approximately 12:17 pm.


A video from the c,rash site has surfaced on social media showing a huge crowd gathered around a burning aircraft.


Emergency responders, including military personnel and police officers, arrived swiftly to cordon off the area and control the gathering crowds.


The incident occurred in proximity to a military installation, with nearby personnel providing immediate assistance.


Githurai 45 Sub-county Police Commander Maurice Odanga verified the accidentt and stated that aviation authorities and security specialists had arrived to conduct an investigation. 


Fire services were deployed to extinguish the b,laze, according to the report.
