 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  Kenya Defence Forces Aircraft C,rashes in Nairobi Residential Area, Casualties Feared 


A Cessna Citation 560, a light aircraft, crashed into a densely populated residential area in Githurai, Nairobi, on Thursday, according to Kenyan authorities. Several are feared dead in the accidentt.


According to reports, the aircraft involved in the c,rash is suspected to belong to the Kenya Defence Forces.


Authorities reported that the aircraft departed from Wilson Airport en route to Hargeisa but lost communication with air traffic controllers at approximately 12:17 pm.


A video from the c,rash site has surfaced on social media showing a huge crowd gathered around a burning aircraft.


Emergency responders, including military personnel and police officers, arrived swiftly to cordon off the area and control the gathering crowds.


The incident occurred in proximity to a military installation, with nearby personnel providing immediate assistance.


Githurai 45 Sub-county Police Commander Maurice Odanga verified the accidentt and stated that aviation authorities and security specialists had arrived to conduct an investigation. 


Fire services were deployed to extinguish the b,laze, according to the report.
