 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi welcome first child through adoption

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi announced Thursday that they have welcomed their first child, a daughter, through adoption this summer.

The couple shared on social media, “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” offering no additional details. Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, were married in a private ceremony in May 2024. Representatives for both actors did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Brown became widely known for her role as Eleven in the Duffer brothers’ sci-fi series Stranger Things, which concludes with its fifth season airing this November and December after nine years of production. She has also starred in the Netflix Enola Holmes films, appeared in a Godzilla movie, and released a romance novel in 2023.

Bongiovi, the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, launched his acting career with the film Rockbottom, which premiered last year. Brown has frequently highlighted the importance of family, noting during the 2024 premiere of her Netflix film Damsel that having Bongiovi and his parents present meant a great deal to her.

The couple resides in Georgia, where Brown has spoken about enjoying life on a farm and stepping back from social media, while also promoting her 2025 Netflix project, The Electric State.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
