  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.  Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi welcome first child through adoption

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi announced Thursday that they have welcomed their first child, a daughter, through adoption this summer.

The couple shared on social media, “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” offering no additional details. Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, were married in a private ceremony in May 2024. Representatives for both actors did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Brown became widely known for her role as Eleven in the Duffer brothers’ sci-fi series Stranger Things, which concludes with its fifth season airing this November and December after nine years of production. She has also starred in the Netflix Enola Holmes films, appeared in a Godzilla movie, and released a romance novel in 2023.

Bongiovi, the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, launched his acting career with the film Rockbottom, which premiered last year. Brown has frequently highlighted the importance of family, noting during the 2024 premiere of her Netflix film Damsel that having Bongiovi and his parents present meant a great deal to her.

The couple resides in Georgia, where Brown has spoken about enjoying life on a farm and stepping back from social media, while also promoting her 2025 Netflix project, The Electric State.
