 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  NLC TO BEGIN NATIONWIDE STRIKE ON AUGUST 22


The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has commenced seven days of mobilization towards starting a nationwide strike on August 22, 2025.


To prevent the scheduled industrial strike, the NLC said the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) must restore 40% of employees contributions diverted to other purposes within seven days.


The NLC President Joe Aliero also faulted the government's stake on the NLC National Headquarters in Abuja. He also demanded that the board of the Pension Commission (PENCOM) must be re-constituted within seven days.


The Congress also tasked the current administration to steadfastly tackle economic crises, runaway inflation, joblessness, hunger, insecurity, and the collapse of public services among others.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
