 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare .  NPFL Unveils 2025/26 Season Schedule, Kicks Off August 22


The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the schedule for the 2025/26 season, with the new campaign set to begin on Friday, August 22, 2025. Defending champions Remo Stars will face Rivers United in the opening match at Ikenne.


The league will take a mid-season break from December 30, 2025, to January 6, 2026, allowing teams and players to rest before the second half of the season. The mid-season transfer window will be open from January 1 to January 30, 2026, providing clubs an opportunity to bolster their squads.


The 2025/26 NPFL season is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, May 24, 2026, marking the end of what promises to be an exciting campaign.
