 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration.  NPFL Unveils 2025/26 Season Schedule, Kicks Off August 22


The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the schedule for the 2025/26 season, with the new campaign set to begin on Friday, August 22, 2025. Defending champions Remo Stars will face Rivers United in the opening match at Ikenne.


The league will take a mid-season break from December 30, 2025, to January 6, 2026, allowing teams and players to rest before the second half of the season. The mid-season transfer window will be open from January 1 to January 30, 2026, providing clubs an opportunity to bolster their squads.


The 2025/26 NPFL season is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, May 24, 2026, marking the end of what promises to be an exciting campaign.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
