Mark Consuelos details 'brutal five-month saga' before his father's death: 'I miss my dad' Mark Consuelos has spoken candidly about the loss of his father, Saul Consuelos, who passed away on March 23 after a long illness.  Appearing on the I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario podcast, the Live with Kelly and Mark co-host reflected on the painful five-month period leading up to his father’s death.  He recalled knowing the end was near but admitted that the reality of the loss still hit him hard.  Consuelos shared that he was able to say goodbye while working on the Broadway play Fallen Angels, and though he later learned of his father’s passing during rehearsals, the production served as a welcome distraction.  OGUN FIRST LADY REMEMBERS LATE SON ON HIS BIRTHDAY

The First Lady of Ogun State, Bamidele Abiodun, on Thursday penned an emotional tribute to her late son on what would have been his 32nd birthday yesterday.

The governor's son, Gbemiga (aka DJ Olu), died together with his friend Chime on October 7, 2017. He was 24 years old.

In her tribute, Ms. Abiodun recalled the sheer beauty of her son's company when he was alive and how she misses him so much since his demise.

"Despite my faith in God, I am honest with myself enough to know this is an enduring pain, imagining what you would look like, how different my life would have been having you here, all the plans you had for yourself and for me; our precious, very honest moments. Oh, my heart breaks as I write this, and imagine what could have been, but God knows best and allowed things to be this way.

"My Gbemiga, continue to rest in peace, as we continue to remember you fondly on your birthday, because I know this is what you would have wanted. Love you this birthday, and always," she wrote.
