 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  *ASSESSING PERSONNEL DEPLOYMENT FOR BYE-ELECTION: POLICE-LED JOINT SECURITY TEAM TAKES CONTROL OF NNEWI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA*


_As AIG Godwin Eze reiterates the ban on Vigilante operatives and other quasi-security outfits from participating during the election period_


Police-led joint security teams have commenced the assessment of personnel deployment for the Anambra bye-election, as security forces take control of Nnewi North Local Government Area.


During the deployment assessment, the supervising Assistant Inspector-General of Police, *AIG Godwin Eze*, reiterated that Vigilante operatives and other quasi-security outfits remain barred from participating in election security operations. He emphasised that only officially accredited security agencies are authorised to be part of the exercise.


Other Places visited include, Polling unit at Osumenyi Community, Nnewi-south Local Headquaters, and other areas in the Anambra South Senatorial district
