 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces.  *ASSESSING PERSONNEL DEPLOYMENT FOR BYE-ELECTION: POLICE-LED JOINT SECURITY TEAM TAKES CONTROL OF NNEWI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA*


_As AIG Godwin Eze reiterates the ban on Vigilante operatives and other quasi-security outfits from participating during the election period_


Police-led joint security teams have commenced the assessment of personnel deployment for the Anambra bye-election, as security forces take control of Nnewi North Local Government Area.


During the deployment assessment, the supervising Assistant Inspector-General of Police, *AIG Godwin Eze*, reiterated that Vigilante operatives and other quasi-security outfits remain barred from participating in election security operations. He emphasised that only officially accredited security agencies are authorised to be part of the exercise.


Other Places visited include, Polling unit at Osumenyi Community, Nnewi-south Local Headquaters, and other areas in the Anambra South Senatorial district

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
