 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  President Mahama Grants Prisoners Amnesty: 87 On Death Row And 911 Others To Return Home


About 998 prisoners have been granted  amnesty by President John Mahama


This followers recommendations by the Prisons Service Council and consultations with the Council of State. 


In a statement from the government provided a breakdown of the categories of prisoners that have been granted amnesty. 


According to the statement, the categories of convicts affected 787 first-time offenders, 87 people on d,eath row to be commuted to life imprisonment, 51 on life sentences to be commuted to 20 years in prison, 


33 seriously ill persons were freed, 36 persons over 70 years old freed, two nursing mothers freed, and two prisoners freed based on petitions. 


The president initially received 1,014 recommendations for amnesty.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
