 You Are Heaven Bound - Franklin Graham Tells Trump in Letter Shared on Palm  Donald Trump has shared a personal letter from evangelist Franklin Graham, saying it offers reassurance about his spiritual future and his path to heaven. The former president posted the letter on Truth Social on March 29 to mark Palm Sunday, the Christian holy day observed one week before Easter.  The note, dated October 15, 2025, was sent after Trump helped broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas and the return of hostages. In the letter, Graham, a longtime ally and son of the late preacher Billy Graham, praised Trump’s role in the breakthrough. “Congratulations! The cease-fire between Israel and Hamas and the hostages being returned home are incredible accomplishments. Your leadership is historic,” Graham wrote.  “This is an answer to much prayer.  Sri Lanka’s former president Wickremesinghe hospitalised following arrest, media reports

Sri Lanka’s former president, Ranil Wickremesinghe, was hospitalised on Saturday, local media reported, a day after his arrest over allegations of misusing public funds during his time in office.

The 76-year-old, who led the country through a severe economic crisis, was taken into custody on Friday. He was admitted to the emergency care unit at Colombo National Hospital the following day with complications related to dehydration, diabetes, and high blood pressure, hospital director Dr. Rukshan Bellana said. Wickremesinghe was later moved to the intensive care unit, where his condition was reported as stable.

Requests for comment from Wickremesinghe’s office and the hospital were not immediately answered. The former president, a six-time prime minister who lost the presidency last year, had been under investigation for a trip to Britain to attend a graduation lunch celebrating his wife’s honorary professorship, local media reported. An ally from his United National Party called the case politically motivated and maintained Wickremesinghe’s innocence.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna.
