 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  SUPER FALCONS STAR, DEBORAH ABIODUN, GIVES GIFTS TO STREET KIDS 


Super Falcons midfielder, Deborah Abiodun, on Wednesday doled out sporting kits and cash gifts to random kids at the National Stadium in Lagos.


Abiodun, 21, currently plays for Dallas Trinity FC in USA’s Women’s Super League and is on loan from top-flight Washington Spirit. She started with Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt before travelling overseas to study at the University of Pittsburgh.


During her visit in Lagos, she gave out shin guards, socks, and footballs to promising kids at the stadium. She also encouraged them to be of good character so as to rise faster in life.
