Blaming opposition for hunger is ‘delusion’, Atiku tells Tinubu Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of blaming the opposition for the country’s economic hardship. He said the President was trying to evade responsibility for his administration’s policies. Tinubu had earlier on Saturday blamed his political opponents for hunger and poverty in the country while speaking at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. “I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said.  SUPER FALCONS STAR, DEBORAH ABIODUN, GIVES GIFTS TO STREET KIDS 


Super Falcons midfielder, Deborah Abiodun, on Wednesday doled out sporting kits and cash gifts to random kids at the National Stadium in Lagos.


Abiodun, 21, currently plays for Dallas Trinity FC in USA’s Women’s Super League and is on loan from top-flight Washington Spirit. She started with Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt before travelling overseas to study at the University of Pittsburgh.


During her visit in Lagos, she gave out shin guards, socks, and footballs to promising kids at the stadium. She also encouraged them to be of good character so as to rise faster in life.
