 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. John E. Crawley, the TikTok creator known as "KingBeardX," has died at the age of 47, according to friends and neighbors in Mississippi. Crawley, whose fast-paced humor and signature tight-angle shots earned him 2.5 million followers, passed away Monday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Crawley, often calling himself the "funniest dude on the Internet," had been struggling with breathing issues and did not have health insurance, prompting a GoFundMe campaign to help cover his hospital expenses. The fundraiser organizer shared news of his death on Tuesday, noting that donations would continue to assist with funeral costs and support Crawley’s mother. Known for his mix of observational comedy and over-the-top delivery, Crawley often poked fun at food, from mispronouncing "salmonella" while joking about a chicken sandwich to critiquing a food influencer’s demonstration of how to eat a cinnamon roll, delighting fans with his irreverent and playful style.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
